Me In A Nutshell: I'd like to say I'm a pretty simple guy...whatever that
means. My life, more or less, revolves around music. I honestly can't imagine what
I would do otherwise. People always say "Do what you love", well I am. Now if I
can just figure out how to make some money doing it I'll be set!
The Future: I don't know what exactly I want to do, but I know whatever it
is it will involve music or entertainment in some way shape or form. I think the
whole "suit and tie" route is pretty much been eliminated from any possibility of
happening for me, and I'm pretty stoked about it.
TV: Entourage is amazing and makes me want to pick up all my stuff and move
to LA every time I watch it. I'm pretty obsessed with Heroes too...or maybe its more
obsessed with Hayden Panetierre, or maybe both. Dunno, I'll get back to you on that
one. I also enjoy Family Guy, The Soup, Conan, and tons of stuff on MTV, Discovery,
and the History and Travel Channels. Oh yeah, can't forget a good Fresh Prince
marathon on Nick at Nite.
Music: This could potentially go on forever. I listen to literally
everything. I know everyone says that. I actually do it. Mostly
rock/alternative/indie stuff, but I definitely don't limit myself just to that
genre. I like a lot of Top 40/Hip Hop stuff. Even the stupid stuff serves a
purpose, even if that purpose is simply to make you dance. Sometimes you wanna
watch a stupid brainless movie and sometimes you wanna watch a 4 hour long epic.
Just depends on the mood. I figure its the same for music, and people take it
waaaay to seriously. Music snobs annoy the hell out of me. I'm an equal
opportunity music lover. If you want specific band names then check out the
MySpace.
Movies: This is a tough one too. American Beauty, Garden State, Anchorman,
That Thing You Do, Wedding Crashers, It's A Wonderful Life, Braveheart, Little Miss
Sunshine, Elf, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Good Will Hunting, American History X,
Crash, Old School, Tommy Boy....I could keep going but that's gonna have to do for
now.
Pet Peeves: "Perfect" people. Douche bag guys that think they are tough. My
over thinking of everything. boredom. boring people. loud obnoxious girls. fake
people. nonstop rain. people that are quick to judge. stupid sayings on church
signs. shaving. people who carry on in depth conversations during concerts. guys who
post pics of their abs or jacked up truck as their default pics. people who think
they have life and everyone in it figured out and take themselves waaay too
seriously. COPS. mayonnaise. people who like a band until they get played on the
radio or MTV...yeah that one really annoys me. I'm sure all bands were started with
the ambition to play crappy hole in the wall clubs and never get discovered or be
successful...yaaaa oook.
Love: family. friends. radio. MUSIC. going out almost every night and
getting ridic. lazy sunday afternoons. mitch hedberg. sushi. spending money i don't
have. my iPod. texting my ass off. concerts. TiVo. Starbucks. college football. the
beach. pop culture. NYC. watching movies. camping. red bull. finding new bands on
MySpace. and more Starbucks.
